MY PHILOSOPHY
My photography journey started when I was a little girl obsessed with my parent's wedding album. I loved it so much, I asked for a scrapbook for Christmas when I was 7 instead of toys (lol). I like to think my obsession with photos came from the idea that I felt like I could go back to a moment in time. The photos my grandfather took on his film camera weren't perfectly posed — but if they were, it wouldn't have had the same effect on me.
Photography is powerful. I know the photos I take are going to be the ones passed down to my clients' grandchildren. My goal is never to pose you stiffly, but to guide you into a space where I'm able to capture your authentic self — not someone you're pretending to be. And if we do this right, I can guarantee you'll be able to feel this version of yourself every time you go back and look at your photos.
